Project Treat a Warrior is a specialized clinic for individuals living with sickle cell disease. The services we
offer are pediatric and hematological consultations, medications, physiotherapy, wound dressing,
psychological counseling, laboratory services and children therapy. The clinic holds every second
Saturdays of the month at No. 2 Longe Street, off Agidingbi Road or opposite Muri International, Ogba
Isheri Road, Ikeja, Lagos.

Since its inception, the Clinic has successfully registered close to 400 patients, many of whom are returning
patients, and has also successfully conducted free genotype testing to hundreds of people. The initiative
has also recently provided Medical Health Insurance to 512 beneficiaries through the Lagos State scheme
“Ilera Eko”. This Health insurance ensures that the beneficiaries get free health care in any hospital in
Lagos state when the need arises. The team responsible for this success comprises of our administrative
staff, qualified medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians and non-medical volunteers. By
virtue of the clinic, we have monitored, referred, and paid fully for the treatment of many complicated
cases to specialist hospitals.
